Sharpen Your Farm Tool Skills at Growers Network Meeting May 29

The Twin Cities Growers Network is hosting its third event, featuring an in-depth discussion on farm hand tools, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wed., May 29, at Big River Farms, 14220-B Ostlund Trl N, Marine on St. Croix. 

Learn about hoes, broad forks, planters, hoses and more: what to avoid, how to sharpen, and how to decrease body wear and tear during use. Bring your favorite tools and garden gizmos and join the conversation.

Also, Minnesota Food Association Executive Director Laura Mirafuentes will lead a tour of Big River Farms and discuss its farmer education program.
