Oak Ridge Farm Tour/Pasture Walk

SFA and NRCS are co-sponsoring a farm tour & pasture walk from 1 to 3 p.m. Fri., Sept. 22, at Freyholtz Oak Ridge Farm, 46081 131st Ave, Hewitt. This free event will discuss cover crops, alternative forages, rotational grazing, no-till pasture renovation and outwintering of livestock. 

This free event is open to all and will be held rain or shine. The Freyholtz farm is 1.2 miles south of Hwy. 210 on Hwy. 71. Go a half-mile west on 470th Ave, then 1.1 miles south on 131st Ave.
