'Dirt Rich: Building Soil Health Experts' – Blue Earth

This two-day advanced soil health workshop features Dr. Allen Williams, who has thrice been a featured speaker at SFA’s Midwest Soil Health Summit and at last year’s “Dirt Rich” field days. Dr. Williams is a champion of the grass-fed beef industry as well as a leader in cutting-edge grazing methodology. 

Mornings will be classroom; afternoons in the field. We will be reviewing soil bio-profiling, a new tool for assessing and monitoring soil health along with other tools, and will have soil bio-profile results for the fields we will be touring.

Each day's event is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Blue Earth and begins at the Faribault County Ag Center, 415 S Grove St, Blue Earth.

The field portions of each day will be at two different farms. Attendees will caravan each day from the 4-H building to:

• Aug. 10 – Blue Dirt Farm, 7301 377th Ave., Blue Earth 
• Aug. 11 – Andy Linder Farm, Blue Earth
