Seelye Brook Farms Open Farm Day - East Central Chapter Area

Come to this Open Farm Day at Seely Brook Farms (an East Central SFA Chapter member) that will be held on June 8, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and is an open house.  This is an annual event where they invite friends, family, neighbors, and community to come and see what Seelye Brook Farms is all about. This year they will have a special presentation and chicken tractor tour of the Sustainable Agriculture Demonstration Grant that their farm received. 

At the open house you can get acquainted with their animals and learn all about how and why they are raising them on pasture. They will have Tunis Sheep and their baby lambs, Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dog (and puppies), Mini Lop Bunnies, and Chickens of many kinds available to see and interact with. Activities for kids of all ages will be available, as well as light refreshments for our guests. This is an educational event for the whole family. However, for the safety of their animals and yours, please do not bring dogs or other pets to Open Farm Day. There will be a portable restroom available on site.

Registration is not required.

When you arrive at Seelye Brook Farms, please follow signs on-site for parking on the farm.
