Minnesota Asparagus Workshop: Moorhead

This workshop, held as part of SFA's Minnesota Asparagus Project, will teach how to grow asparagus, a high-value perennial crop. Dive into everything asparagus from choosing planting sites, looking at varieties, and expanding your knowledge of seed versus crowns. The class can help you identify markets for asparagus as well.

Wear comfortable shoes, bring gardening gloves and water. Farmers and experts will provide hands-on learning; attendees will take home some seeds and crowns. Lunch provided. This class is a collaboration between Doubting Thomas Farm and SFA. Fee includes lunch, seeds and crowns.
