Greater Mille Lacs Meeting

SFA Greater Mille Lacs Chapter is hosting a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, in the community room at the Aitkin Public Library, 110 1st Ave NE. Members are asked to attend and help the chapter make a number of decisions to ensure our work is productive and helpful.

At this meeting, Thomas Mizner, manager of Gramma’s Pantry & The Beanery, will discuss what he wants to buy locally and learn other products that local farmers have for sale, building a dialogue for long-term communication. He’ll also discuss needs to build a menu for our annual Farm2Families summer extravaganza.

Farm2Families planning committee members will be sought to help our growing event be successful, sustainable, and serve its purpose.

Chapter leaders will also discuss hiring a chapter coordinator to take some burden off the board members and grow our chapter potential and income opportunities.
