In Defense of Land & Food Sovereignty

SFA Lake Agassiz Chapter and Witness for Peace are co-sponsoring an event, "In Defense of Land & Food Sovereignty" featuring farmer Fermina Zarate Dominguez, at 3 p.m. Wed., Oct. 17, at M State Fergus Falls Science Building, 1414 College Way, Room 444. 

Dominguez is an Indigenous Mixteca farmer from Oaxaca, Mexico, who is an expert on small farmer development in her region. She will discuss her experiences with soil conservation, reforestation of native trees, rainwater collection, seed conservation and more.
