'Ranching for Profit' Workshops With Dave Pratt: 'The Three Secrets for Increasing Profit'

SFA and multiple co-sponsors are hosting a workshop series with nationally known sustainable agriculture expert Dave Pratt from Dec. 10-14 in locations around Minnesota. Pratt has a tool box full of simple but effective facilitative processes that have earned him a reputation for helping people get to the heart of the problem and find win-win solutions.

A workshop, "The Three Secrets for Increasing Profit," will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 11 at American Legion (note site change), 100 Industrial Blvd, Redwood Falls. Attendees at this workshop will:

• See if your ranch is really a business or just a low-paying, physically-demanding job.
• Learn the difference between economics and finance and why economics always comes first.
• Discover the only three things that any business can do to increase profit.
• Learn to use the RFP benchmarks
