Hollister Farm Bale Grazing Field Tour

Join the Crow Wing River Basin Forage Council for an on-farm tour at Hollister Farm.

Bale grazing is a form of wintering cattle on pasture, or outwintering. The benefits of bale grazing include more equal distribution of manure and associated nutrients, reduced machinery costs for feeding and manure handling, and improved soil health.

The event will be held at Hollister Farm, 12857 Nokasippi River Road SE, Brainerd 56401.

1. Pre-registration is required for this event. Registration will close on Sunday, April 18.
2. This event will be limited to 50 participants.
3. Masks are required, unless a physical limitation prevents mask use. Presenters will remove their masks while speaking.
4. Social distancing of 6 feet is required.
5. All participants must signify their COVID symptom status upon registering and upon arrival to the event.
