Growing and Marketing Premium Minnesota Garlic

This presentation includes the latest information and best practices for new or current growers who want to increase their their yields and improve their stock. Jerry Ford, a longtime garlic grower and director of the Minnesota Garlic Festival, will take you through choosing seed stock, planting, cultivation, harvest, curing and storing, and everything in between. Connie Carlson of the U. of M. Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships will present information about The Minnesota Premium Garlic Project and its goals to increase the production, quality and marketability of Minnesota Premium Garlic.

In addition, Ford and Carlson will discuss tips and techniques for marketing your garlic in all parts of the state.
