DGA Summer Fling Pasture Walk

Pasture Production on Display at DGA Field Day July 25 in Brandon

Pasture production financials and forage ideas will be showcased as Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship hosts its Summer Fling Pasture Walk from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wed., July 25, at Wagner Organic Dairy, 9750 County 5 NW, Brandon. 

Speakers Kent Solberg, SFA Livestock & Grazing Specialist; and Jeff Duchene, NRCS Grazing Specialist will discuss how good pasture management boosts farm revenue, what forages work on the Wagner farm, dairy farming pressures and more. Also, recent data will from a four-state Green Lands Blue Waters and DGA dairy financial performance study will be discussed.
