Soil Health With Kent Solberg: Sleepy Eye

SFA and Brown County Farmers Union are hosting a soil health presentation with SFA Livestock & Grazing Specialist Kent Solberg from 7 to 9 p.m. Wed., June 20, at the Railway Bar, 300 1st Ave N, Sleepy Eye. A no host supper off the menu starts at 6 p.m. and the program will follow. 

Solberg, a farmer from Verndale, will discuss cover crops, strategies to reduce soil and water erosion, and integrating livestock to restore soil health and increase profitability. 

Other speakers include Heidi Sellner, Minnesota Dairy Initiative; and Jerome Graff, Brown County Farmers Union.
