Live Fence Maintenance (Hedging) Workshop

Live Fence Maintenance (Hedging) Workshop -- Free and open to all! The "Paddle" portion of this event has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. The hedging workshop will instead be lengthened to allow for more time to learn and tour Island Lake Farm. The workshop will now span from 9:30-12:30.

Join the Central Chapter of SFA on October 17th for learning, growing, and enjoying the company of fellow SFA members, all in a safe and outdoor environment.
Starting the day off at Island Lake Farm in Deerwood, MN, Jim and Audra Chamberlin will demonstrate how to construct and maintain a live fence in the form of hedging. There will be opportunities to participate or assist in the process, please bring a pair of heavy gloves if you would like to assist.

Pre-registration is required. In accordance with SFA's COVID policy, this outdoor event is limited to 25 people. SFA recommends wearing a mask to its events.

9:30 - 12:30 Hedging Workshop 

12:30-1:30 Participant Mingling
