"How to Apply for an AGRI Grant" -Live Webinar with Q&A

Farmers and ranchers, ag cooperatives, individuals, you are eligible to apply for an Agricultural Growth, Research and Innovation – AGRI - grant offered through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.  The AGRI Value-Added Grant helps Minnesota processors add value to Minnesota agricultural products by investing in the purchase of equipment, production capacity, market diversification, and market access for value-added products. How do you prepare a strong application for this competitive grant? Join us for a “how-to” webinar on Monday, October 5, 2020 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm. 

The Agricultural Growth, Research and Innovation grant deadline is October 28, 2020. This webinar is best for those who already have a value added project developed and who are seeking support.  It will also be useful for people who are thinking about a value added agricultural venture and need information on funding options. 

Presenters from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s AGRI Value Added Grant Program, along with some farmers with experience applying for grants, will describe the details of this grant program and offer tips and insights into what makes a good grant application.
