Driftless Chapter Meetup to Discuss 'Driftless Grown,' Chapter Leadership

The SFA Driftless chapter is hosting a meetup via Zoom from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, to learn more about "Driftless Grown," a grassroots effort in Southeastern Minnesota meant to uplift and strengthen the local food economy and connect local farmers with the community.

Coordinated by Sarah Mann, Driftless Grown offers opportunities to the Driftless SFA Chapter and others for involvement, community and farmer networking. Sarah and Driftless Grown member Harvey Butchite, Hidden Springs Flower Farm, will lead the discussion. 

During this meeting a discussion will ensue on next steps for the Driftless Chapter, which was unable to hold its annual meeting and election this spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees will discuss leadership and elections as well as program plans for the remainder of the summer and fall.
