Soil Health Cafe Chat: Barnesville

This spring, Sustainable Farming Association is again hosting a series of our popular Cafe Chat events in various Minnesota sites.

This free event, set for 2-4 p.m. Mon., March 16, at Buffalo-Red River Watershed District, 1303 4th Ave NE, Barnesville, will feature area farmers who are practicing soil health principles like cover crops, more diverse species, reduction in soil disturbance and adding livestock. During each Cafe Chat, the featured producers share their soil health experience, followed by open questions and discussion.

At this Cafe Chat, SFA's Doug Voss will discuss soil health alongside farmers Ryan Hough, Kari Olson, Nicole Strafelda and Clifford Johnson as well as Clay County NRCS and SWCD employees. 

All SFA Cafe Chat events are free and open to all and include coffee and rolls; no RSVP is required.
