Western Chapter Annual Meeting – POSTPONED

Marketing small ruminants, Minnesota demands for Halal and Kosher meat and more are on tap as SFA Western Chapter hosts its Annual Meeting from noon-4:30 p.m. Sat., March 21, at the Montevideo Community Center, 550 S 1st St, Montevideo. 

A discussion on the raising and marketing of small ruminants will kick off the meeting, with panelists Kathy Draeger, Mary Jo Forbord, Kent Solberg and Doug Voss. Then a presentation of a recent study that measured Halal and Kosher meat demands will ensue. Western Chapter event planning, board elections and more will also take place. A potluck lunch is included; please bring a dish to share.
