Soil Health Cafe Chat: West Union

This spring, Sustainable Farming Association is again hosting a series of our popular Cafe Chat events in various Minnesota sites.

These free events feature area farmers who are practicing soil health principles like cover crops, more diverse species, reduction in soil disturbance and adding livestock. During each Cafe Chat, the featured producers share their soil health experience, followed by open questions and discussion. SFA's Kent Solberg and Doug Voss will discuss soil health at each event, typically alongside either area SWCD personnel or area farmers.

This Cafe Chat is 9:30-11:30 a.m. Mon., Feb. 24 Sidewalks Bar & Grill, 51 Main St. Special guest: local farmer Eric Stelling.

These events are free and open to all and include coffee and rolls; no RSVP is required.
