Panel: 'The Future of Dairy'

Looking for skilled labor on your dairy farm or someone to pass the farm onto when you retire? Want to get into dairy farming but don’t know how? 

These questions and many others will be answered during an upcoming session, "The Future of Dairy," from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 9, during the Minnesota Organic Conference at River's Edge Center, St. Cloud. 

Led by SFA and Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship, this session is led by DGA's Angie Walter and Bonnie Haugen and features master grazier Nate Walter and his apprentice/journey worker, Ryan Heinen. They will discuss their experience with the program and will present relevant discussion for both experienced and emerging farmers.
