Women and USDA Farm Service Agency programs

Renewing the Countryside's "Women in Agriculture Program,” in partnership with SFA, is hosting a series of lunch presentations in Brown County on "Women and USDA Farm Service Agency programs.” The first is set for noon-1:30 p.m. Tues., Jan. 9, at the Railway, 300 1st Ave N, Sleepy Eye. These events are free and lunch is provided.

The events will focus on the many programs available to help women in agriculture, from conventional to organic producers as well as new farmers, those who are part of existing operations or those who own land and want to get more involved. Learn about and participate in FSA programs, connect with local FSA offices, and make connections.

Presenters include Brown County FSA County Director Crystal Dibley and SFA Executive Director Theresa Keaveny. Other presenters may be added.
