TC Growers Network Meeting

Consider cover crops and ways to protect pollinators as the Twin Cities Growers Network hosts its next meeting from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 15, at Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association, 821 E 35th St, Minneapolis. Come ready to share your experiences, successes, questions and challenges – this event is free and open to all farmers, growers, gardeners and anyone interested in growing. 

Presentations include:

• "Cover Crops in Vegetable Production," by Natalie Hoidal, U. of M. Extension
• "Gardening for Pollinators in the Fall," Julie Weisenhorn, U. of M. Extension
• A tour of Tiny Diner's food and ag education efforts by Farm Manager Andrea Eger
